Air Quality Consultant Location: Belfast Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE A leading environmental consultancy based in Belfast is looking for an experienced Air Quality Consultant to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic firm at the forefront of environmental impact assessment and regulatory compliance, offering a diverse project portfolio across the UK and Ireland. About the Company This well-established consultancy is known for its technical excellence and client-focused approach. Their services include: Ambient air quality monitoring and modelling Odour and dust assessments Air dispersion modelling (ADMS, AERMOD, etc.) Environmental impact assessments (EIAs) Planning support and expert witness services Noise and vibration assessment Contaminated land and hydrogeological services With a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, the company supports a wide range of sectors including industrial, infrastructure, construction, waste, and energy. The Role You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality air quality, odour and dust assessments, supporting planning applications, regulatory compliance, and industrial permitting processes. Your responsibilities will include: Air dispersion modelling using ADMS Roads. Air quality, odour & dust assessments. Air Quality monitoring. Technical report writing. Site visits when required. Data collection and analysis.About You You should have: A relevant degree in environmental science, atmospheric science, or related discipline Proven experience in ambient air quality, odour and/or dust assessments Proficiency in air dispersion modelling software (e.g. ADMS, AERMOD) Strong understanding of UK and Irish air quality legislation and planning frameworks Excellent written and verbal communication skillsBenefits The company offers a supportive and flexible working environment with a strong focus on career development.
