Key Responsibilities:
Visitor Management:
* Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring they receive a warm and professional reception.
* Conduct Health and Safety inductions for visitors and contractors, ensuring compliance with site protocols.
* Direct visitors to the appropriate departments or personnel, maintaining a smooth flow of operations.
Administrative Support:
* Answer and direct phone calls, providing excellent customer service and ensuring efficient communication.
* Handle incoming mail, distributing documents appropriately and maintaining confidentiality where necessary.
* Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring the office operates smoothly and efficiently.
* Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Event Support:
* Collaborate in the planning and execution of company events, including meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.
* Coordinate catering and lunch orders, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
* Prepare meeting rooms, ensuring they are equipped and set up for events to run seamlessly.
* Assist with on-site event logistics, ensuring all activities proceed without a hitch.
General Housekeeping:
* Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable office environment, promoting a positive workplace culture.
* Perform other administrative duties as assigned, showcasing adaptability and a commitment to team success.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, with a track record of delivering high-quality support.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
* A positive and proactive attitude, with a passion for sustainability and driving positive change.
Hours: 7:30am – 14:00pm or 8:00am till 15:00pm
Pay: £12 – 13 per hour
