The primary purpose of the position is to assist Design Engineering with Product Development activities and to translate the resulting Design into a set of Manufacturing deliverables, including Assembly BoM’s, Production Line plans and Work instructions. The position will also be key in the Change process from supporting change Board activities through to the implementation of the change into Manufacturing. General support to other project activities, including regular production reviews and bid activities will also be required. Your Responsibilities Will Include Configuration Control of Manufacturing product data Communication and reporting (issues, risks, KPI’s etc) Input into the Product Change process from a production perspective, including; impact on Product Cost, WIP and Material. Implementation of Changes to Manufacturing Product Data Disposition of existing WIP and Stock Identification & implementation of Continuous Improvement opportunities to reduce Product cost and improve quality & delivery Support Engineering with Product Development, inc drawing sign off Translate Engineering BoM’s and Drawings into Standard Manufacturing data to support industrialisation of Product into Assembly lines.
