Salary: £48,788 - £56,747 per annum
Holiday: 35 days per annum (including public holidays)

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Nurse Manager
This exciting role as Nurse Manager, provides leadership, management, development, and co-ordination of the clinical nursing teams across Hospice services. You will, through excellent communication skills, foster a professional culture which is responsive to changing and emergent patient / service needs. You will adaptively support across services including the Inpatient Unit and Palliative Care Helpline. As a senior leader you will implement and review the development, design and delivery of clinical services in line with the Hospice’s strategic plan. We are ideally looking for nurses with experience in nursing management with parallel experience in palliative end of life care.
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Head of Hospice Services, you can expect your working day to include the following:
* As Nurse Manager, you will be able to use your excellent communication skills to collaborate with the wider Hospice teams and external partners to ensure delivery of timely specialist palliative care.
* Working in collaboration with the Quality Improvement and Clinical Governance Lead, you will be actively involved in the Quality/ Governance structure of the Hospice services, ensuring statutory & regulatory requirements are understood by the nursing team, underpinning safe and effective care.
* Along with the Practice Learning & Development Lead you will be actively involved in identifying the learning and development needs of the staff and delivery of education.
* Provide leadership, guidance and expertise and support to staff across nursing teams.
