Role: Assembly Technician

Ricardo’s Performance Products division are seeking an Assembly Technician on a contract basis. You will be responsible for the preparation and build of gearboxes and axles for low volume, high value driveline systems for a variety of customers. whilst upholding the highest quality standards.
Role autonomy:

* Has good assembly and or test skills

Additional/special features of the role: Location / Travel:
* Expected to be UK based within the RPP office in Leamington Spa, 5 days per week
Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualifications:
* Minimum GCSE in Mathematics and English (Grade C or above).
* Likely to have served a traditional apprenticeship or have relevant experience.
* Assembly and / or end of line test experience of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
* Ability to use measurement equipment such as vernier, micrometer etc.
* Intermediate level of PC and general computer skills – good working knowledge of MS office.
* Good organisational skills. Is self-motivated and proactive.
* Awareness of automotive quality control processes
