Job Title: Youth Justice Officer (PO2) Department: Enfield Youth Justice Service Type: Secondment Cover Rate: £24.25 PAYE Enfield Youth Justice Service (YJS) is a forward-thinking, multi-agency partnership committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for young people, their families, and the wider community. We are currently seeking experienced and highly motivated Youth Justice Officers to join our team and help maintain the high standards of service we provide. Key Responsibilities: Undertake all duties related to safeguarding young people and managing risk to the community. Prepare high-quality reports including Pre-Sentence Reports (PSRs), Referral Order reports, and Breach reports. Complete AssetPlus assessments with strong analytical insight. Develop and deliver structured, sequenced interventions to reduce reoffending, while effectively managing risk of harm to self and others. Work in close partnership with internal and external agencies. Monitor practice and contribute to continuous improvement of service delivery. Requirements: Minimum of two years’ experience working within a Youth Justice Service. Demonstrable knowledge and application of risk management processes. Proven experience writing statutory reports for court and partner agencies. Strong commitment to safeguarding, professional integrity, and multi-agency working. Ability to work flexibly, including occasional weekends and unsocial hours, as required. Hybrid working available.
