About the department The Adviser business provides support, expertise and technology for financial advisers in the UK to bring value for their businesses and their clients. About the role As the Operational Change Manager you will get the opportunity to be a key part of the Supplier Management Team within the Adviser Business, you will be responsible for managing operational change amongst 3rd party providers aligned to the Adviser Vector. You will get the opportunity to work with 3rd party providers and set criteria to monitor the supplier to ensure they can continue to meet what is required. You will also be a part of engaging with any new 3rd party providers to ensure we establish the relationship and requirements at the outset. Key responsibilities Co-ordinate Supplier operational change activities initiated by abrdn and Supplier Engage with internal stakeholders to understand the change required Support and agree priority of Supplier change activity Assess impact to Supplier KPIs/SLAs – work with Business Teams & Supplier Assess impact to Supplier risk rating and downstream impacts (SRAQ, DDQ, Ops Resilience) Track Supplier change activity, status and costs Embed an operational Supplier change framework across Adviser business (including costs, risks, priorities) Regular reporting on Supplier operational change Escalation as per Supplier escalation matrix for any non/slow progress About the candidate requirements Experience of managing third party suppliers Good working knowledge of managing different types of 3rd party contracts Experience of managing project activity Good commercial awareness of Supplier Dedication to robust, timely and consistent delivery of agreed outcomes Good relationship management skills with a track record of being able to effectively influence, collaborate and constructively challenge stakeholders at all levels Strong verbal and written communicator with ability to make the complex simple and engage both technical and non-technical audiences using a variety of mediums We are proud to be a Disability Confident Committed employer.
