We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming Reception class in Isleworth. In this full-time role, you'll work closely with a supportive team, including a qualified teacher and Early Years Practitioner, to help every child thrive. What You'll Be Doing: As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in assisting children with special educational needs (SEN) within a mainstream Reception class. Your day will be filled with supporting children in one-on-one and small group settings, ensuring a positive learning environment with a focus on behaviour management. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting children with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other SEN. Implementing effective behaviour management strategies. Collaborating with the teacher and Early Years Practitioner to meet children's individual needs. Encouraging the development of positive behaviours and social skills. Engaging children in learning activities and supporting their academic and social progress.What We're Looking For: Experience in SEN Support: Previous experience working with children with SEN and managing challenging behaviours. Behaviour Management Skills: Confident in using behaviour management strategies with patience and empathy. Experience with ASD/ADHD: Knowledge and experience of working with children diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, or similar conditions. Personable & Compassionate: You're caring, approachable, and genuinely passionate about working with young children.
