Senior Facades Quantity Surveyor – Oak, Uxbridge
What you will be doing:
* Attend tender handover meetings and manage all relevant cost information.
* Formulate contract budgets from tender data and forecast profit/loss.
* Monitor budgets monthly and update for ongoing works.
* Provide interim cost/value reconciliation and monitor project cashflows using Oracle.
* Prepare and agree interim payments and final accounts, including measurement.
* Procure subcontractors, agree rates, and manage subcontract documentation.
* Implement subcontract payment controls and evaluate variations and claims.
* Record verbal instructions with cost/time implications for recovery.
* Maintain site progress records, including photographs, drawings, and data.
* Report delays, submit notices, and manage prolongation costs.
* Coordinate with departments to improve communication and project outcomes.
About You:
* Strong commercial and technical knowledge.
* Proven management of commercial staff across multiple sites.
* Experience in residential and commercial construction sectors.
* Leadership qualities and safety awareness.
* Alignment with Galliford Try values: Excellence, Passion, Integrity, Collaboration.
* Solid contract knowledge, including JCT and industry standards.
* Experience with BMS, health and safety policies, and PLC procedures.
