Kings Accountancy Services Ltd is recruiting for an Accounts & Tax Semi Senior to join their team in Braintree.
We are a growing accountancy practice that acts for a wide range of clients, across varied industries providing services including accounts, tax, bookkeeping, payroll, VAT and management accounts for individuals, sole traders and small companies.
Based from the firms’ offices in Braintree, you will have a hands-on role assisting in the accounts, tax, payroll and general bookkeeping for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will have increasing client contact and involvement over time as you progress within the role. Flexible home working can potentially be negotiated for the right candidate. Full or Part Time is available.
Requirements:
•At least 1 - 2 years' experience, or more ideally gained within accountancy practice
•Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Reporting skills
•Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, Xero, and other accounting software
•Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
•Experience in payroll processing and tax preparation
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment
•Ensure compliance with company secretarial duties and administrative tasks
•Liaise with clients and HMRC, handling ad-hoc queries confidently
•Proficiency in using Xero accounting software would be preferred
•The ability to manage conflicting priorities
You may be AAT qualified/ studying, ACCA/ACA training, or have developed your career through experience only.
