In the role of Revenue Management Analyst you'll deliver and implement Virgin Atlantic Airway's (VAA's) worldwide Inventory Management strategies through rigorous, constant, evaluation and analysis of VAA's Inventory strategies and competitive positioning, in line with our network and strategic objectives. You'll deliver effective Inventory Management in an efficient, accurate and timely manner, in support of the department's Inventory Management & Pricing strategies Day to day Responsible for the delivery and implementation of VAA's revenue generation through strategic, insightful and informed revenue plans Through scientific and forensic knowledge of the market and continual evaluation of the competitive landscape, make recommendations to the Manager - Revenue Management Inventory as to strategies to facilitate the delivery of VAA's Network revenue optimisation and strategy Deliver proactive and reactive Inventory Management initiatives in a timely and accurate manner Perform KPI maintenance and analysis on a regular basis Utilize O&D business rules to improve VAA's revenue performance with constant review of effectiveness Utilize Demand influences rules to reflect market conditions and ensure demand forecast accuracy Accountable for the analysis, creation and implementation of revenue plans to support the strategic objectives of VAA and its network revenue generation Constantly review effectiveness of Inventory strategies and system parameters, ensuring best practice Responsible for optimising Revenue Management KPIs to maximise VAA's passenger network revenue Test demand elasticity to optimize revenue through strategic Inventory Management Analyse and recommend point of sale, O&D and segment Inventory strategies to maximise Network Revenue Optimization Utilising analytics' tools, minimise low/high yield spill and spoil, optimise forecast accuracy and set overbooking strategies and other key performance metrics About you Do you have the ability to interpret, analyse, manipulate and present significant volumes of data? Do you have experience using either - Power BI or Tableau?
