Staff Nurse (RGN Qualified)
Night Shifts
48 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £21 + Paid Breaks

As a staff nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, round-the-clock care to residents, utilising your expertise to ensure the well-being and comfort of those in your care.
What We're Looking For:
* Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with a valid UK NMC Pin
* Previous experience in a care home setting or working with older adults is desirable
* A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature, with a genuine passion for working with older adults
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with night staff and day staff during handovers
* Ability to work independently during night shifts, making critical decisions with confidence
Your Responsibilities:
* Provide person-centred care during night shifts, ensuring residents are comfortable, safe, and cared for with dignity and respect
* Administer medications and treatments accurately, following care plans and ensuring compliance with NMC guidelines and home policies
* Monitor and assess residents' health conditions, promptly addressing any changes and escalating concerns to management or medical professionals when necessary
* Maintain thorough and accurate records, updating care plans and documenting any incidents or health changes in line with regulatory requirements
* Respond promptly to emergencies, managing situations calmly and effectively
* Offer emotional support to residents, creating a reassuring presence during the night and addressing any concerns or anxieties they may have
* Communicate with families and other health professionals as needed to ensure seamless care delivery and keep everyone updated on residents' well-being
