Approach Personnel are seeking a highly experienced Groundworker. As a Groundworks Forperson, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating groundworks projects from start to finish. You will be managing a team of groundworks operatives, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards and within project timelines. This role requires a strong leadership presence, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of groundworks projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
Supervise and lead a team of groundworks operatives and subcontractors.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
Oversee plant and equipment usage, ensuring they are maintained and used effectively.
Provide training and mentoring to junior staff.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication throughout the project.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreperson or in a similar supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of groundworks processes, machinery, and techniques.
Health and Safety awareness, with a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

SSSTS/SMSTS
Full driving license and willingness to travel
