Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience (not pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced, outstanding Office Manager to join our team at our new school Bradford Beacon.
About the role
Reporting to the Head Teacher, play a key operational role in the management of the service to meet the school’s aims and school improvement plan. The post holder will be be responsible for the effective management of financial resources, management information systems, ICT, HR, H&S, site management and administration procedures.
The Office Manager is responsible for providing office management services to Bradford Beacon School. This includes maintaining office services and efficiency, supervising office staff and maintaining office records.
To oversee Admin and Finance and maintain high standards of HR.
Ensure all stakeholders benefit from high standards of service.
Associate Member of the SLT and responsible for the Administration Department to provide the school with a safe environment for all people – pupils, staff, visitors and contractors.
Main point of contact for central services – including HR, Recruitment, Resourcing, Payroll and IT.
This role will also include additional responsibilities such as:
To oversee the administrative functions including the administrative ICT facilities, school receptions, records and telephones.
Implement office policies and procedures.
Supervise office staff.
Recruit and select office staff.
Provide on the job and training opportunities.
Ensure all systems and files are maintained and up to date.
Ensure protection and security of files and records.
Organise and collate reports ahead of SLT meeting, attend, note take and distribute actions.
To ensure systems are in place to maintain confidential staff records, and to ensure that staff records held in the school by others are kept secure and confidential.
To provide advice and guidance on policies and procedures to all staff.
If necessary, assist in disciplinary cases, investigations, writing letters, reports, minutes taking and decision making.
Complete internal audits.
Oversee and maintain correct file storage for Archive.

Our New Options Autism School – Bradford Beacon School is proposed to open September 2025 and will cater for 37 pupils aged 4 - 11 years. Our pupils with have a variety of complex needs including ASC.
