A leading Lloyd's Insurance Brokerage is currently recruiting for a Compliance Assistant to join their London team
The role will provide support to the Compliance Team. Dealing directly with and supporting/advising employees, Appointed Representative and Associate Companies regarding the Group’s Compliance activities, policies and procedures to ensure all Compliance requirements are met.
Key tasks:
1. Day to day assistance to the operations of the Compliance Department.
2. Monthly systems and control reports.
3. Prepare monthly reports recording information received from Finance and Sponsored Companies into report and chase missing financial information or TCF information so that reports can be produced in timely fashion.
4. Obtaining complaints logs in order to maintain a master complaints log on a monthly basis.
5. Assisting with completing due diligence requests from Insurers and Intermediaries.
6. Embedding Compliance training modules into the Company’s online training platform and ensuring that follow ups to managers and individuals are conducted to ensure mandatory Compliance modules are completed within the required timeframes.
7. Attending Compliance Team Meetings and Product Governance Committee meetings in order to compile minutes for review by relevant stakeholders.
8. Assisting with Data Subject Access requests as and when they arise.
9. Maintenance of broker management system (UK and overseas).
10. Management of REG UK system ensuring that alerts are monitored for business connections with escalation of issues raised to the relevant stakeholders.

Knowledge and experience desired:
12. Knowledge of FCA Compliance in relation to Insurance requirements for commercial and retail business.
13. Insurance broking background, preferably with London Market experience.
