Your Role
As a Road Logistics Sales Manager, you will lead and motivate the branch team, including Business Development Managers, Account Managers, and Customer Service Specialists. Your focus will be on developing and executing sales strategies to achieve exceptional revenue and consignment growth, surpassing set targets. You will also be responsible for building a high-performing team that identifies, develops, and secures new business opportunities.

Your Responsibilities
1. Develop and manage sales strategies by identifying market opportunities to support growth and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, supporting the team in account management and customer retention through excellent service.
3. Continuously develop sales talent via coaching and training, ensuring team members are skilled in identifying opportunities and understanding freight services.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide seamless customer experiences and satisfaction.
5. Manage and support the branch team, including recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
6. Oversee the branch’s financial performance, including managing budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans.
7. Track sales performance using CRM systems and make data-driven decisions to optimize results.
Skills and Experience
* Experience in line management, employee engagement, and performance management.
* Relevant experience in sales within Forwarding/Logistics or similar industries.
* Deep knowledge of international and domestic road logistics, including customs procedures like DAP and DDP solutions between UK and EU.
* Proven success in B2B sales and driving growth.
* Strong computer literacy, organizational skills, and CRM proficiency.
* Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel.
