THE JOB OVERVIEW You will work very closely with the Registered Manager (RM) and support the RM in managing the business and the team within it by planning and delivering quality domiciliary care as well as maintaining and improving compliance to all regulatory standards within the service provision. THE JOB AND RESPONSIBILITIES You will provide management and leadership to the team and ensure that all current and newly referred service users are properly and continuously assessed, and high-quality person-centred support is effectively provided to regulatory standards. You will manage/coordinate the day-to-day activities within the service. You will manage staff within the delegated budget in accordance with Rysvil Policies and Procedures and all other regulations. You will ensure the support / service team is equipped with the skills and competences required alongside the provision of a developmental focus in aid of practice. In this regard you will keep abreast with new developments in Health Care and Regulations. You will be responsible for staff supervision, appraisals, staff meetings and Training that meet individual and/or team learning, also staff recruitment and induction. You will be responsible for the overall well-being of staff and clients in terms of administrative roles as in quality case record keeping (Careberry Data), presentation of management returns, client/family reviews and surveys as well as ensure that the principles of quality Risk Assessment/ Management, Safeguarding, Information Management, Health and Safety, Equal Opportunity and all regulatory requirements (CQC, PAMMs and Compliance Monitoring) are all in play in the service planning and delivery and in line with Rysvil values and commitment to providing high quality service to our range of service users based on their abilities, needs and choices. You will ensure all regulatory and contractual standards are met, even exceeded, by implementing and monitoring quality assurance strategies and documentation while actively promoting a culture of continuous improvement. You will appropriately represent Rysvil in effective partnership with the Local Authorities, key stakeholders and networks through effective communication channels in aid of joint working and service user referrals. You will act for the Registered Manager (RM) in his/her absence. As a result of internal promotion, we require a Deputy Care Manager. Applicants are likely to be experienced and competent in that role or have the potential to be confirmed in that role with training in 6 months. Applicants are likely to have the appropriate repertoire of skills, abilities and knowledge and a qualification in Health and social Care or NVQ Level 3 or will be prepared to acquire it.
