Deputy Manager – Care Home (Non-Clinical) Location: Colchester Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, Permanent We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager for a prestigious care home in Colchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading provider in a non-clinical management role, ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of care and support to our residents. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Home Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the care home. Support in leading and managing a team of care staff to ensure exceptional care services are provided. Monitor care plans, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Foster a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance within the home. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders. Requirements: Previous experience in a managerial or senior leadership role within a care setting (non-clinical). Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Sound knowledge of care home regulations and best practices. Ability to manage budgets, resources, and staffing effectively. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) required; NVQ Level 5 preferred.
