Full Time: 40 hours per week
Working hours: Monday - Friday 5.30am - 2.00pm with occasional Saturday & Bank Holiday shifts.

As a Street Cleansing Operative in our Norfolk team, you'll provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Norfolk. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Street Cleansing staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve.
You'll be entrusted to:
* Carry out both programmed and responsive cleansing requirements on an hourly/daily/weekly/monthly basis with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job.
* Understand Contract requirements, the specification of all street cleansing.
* Identify and understand key performance indicators and ensure that these are met.
* Regularly report to line manager progress on works and any matters which arise affecting delivery.
* Work as part of the team, putting forward suggestions and ideas for improvements in service provision.
* Be responsible for the daily inspection and reporting procedure for machinery, prior and on completion of usage, including vehicles.
* Maintain the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
