Job Summary:
Atlantis Rail Systems, one of the leading cable railing manufacturers, is seeking to expand their sales team by hiring an Inside Sales Representative. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for all assigned inside sales activity, facilitating the sales processes in support of our dealers and outside representatives in the assigned region. This includes order creation and entry, product information and training, prospecting inbound leads, qualifying leads, gathering required details for accurate quotes, and following up on quotes to close new sales opportunities. The Inside Sales Representative is expected to work with clients and prospects to identify potential business and close new projects. The ability to successfully multitask and handle several simultaneous sales processes is required and paramount to success in this role. The Inside Sales Representative is expected to coordinate and work with the Regional Sales Manager, channel partners, and outside representatives to ensure business growth and customer satisfaction while maintaining professionalism in presentation, appearance, and communication.
Job Responsibilities:
* Consistently perform at or above goal sales revenue targets set for the territory each quarter.
* Prospect for new sales through inbound leads and quotes from all sources, using provided leads and available tools in the most time-effective way.
* Acquire and maintain proficiency in technical aspects of the product line and explain and demonstrate products on demand.
* Respond to all pre-sale leads and inquiries with timeliness and purpose to effect closing of the sale.
* Manage large channel accounts with multiple branches and/or multiple decision-makers to maximize sales.
* Facilitate sales by engaging end users and partners with product information needs, ensuring product understanding. Training of partners and customers is a constant requirement of all Atlantis Rail sales personnel.
* Provide dealer training at every opportunity via daily contact.
* Produce accurate quotes and process active orders and projects through completion with 100% accuracy required at all phases.
* Consistently track opportunities and update pipeline in CRM.
* Assist with marketing as required, including participation in events at customer locations and trade shows.
* Process all orders accurately and timely.
* Contact all leads provided and follow up according to guidelines with 100% follow-up required.
* Other sales-related activities as required.
* Execute all job-related activities within the requirements set out in the Suncor Stainless Employee Manual, Atlantis Rail Order Processing Procedures (ARP 8), and in compliance with directives provided by direct supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Some College. BA/BS preferred.
* Degree in Architecture, Project Management, or Marketing most desirable.
* Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
* Minimum 2 years of experience selling construction products direct and/or through the channel required. Railing experience preferred.
* Strategic, high-energy professional with a results-oriented track record of sales closings above quota.
* Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple sales processes simultaneously.
* Capable of handling sales prospecting within a multi-state territory.
* Familiarity with and previous experience with consultative selling methodologies.
* An understanding of construction and/or technical drawing and construction assembly.
* Comfortable interacting with multiple decision-makers simultaneously in a consultative sales methodology.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to present technical information from a sales perspective.
