Join our Sales Channel Marketing Team as Channel Marketing Executive. This role is a hybrid working role with attendance required at our Slough office on a weekly basis.
The Channel Marketing Executive will work closely with the key account manager (KAM), reporting to the Head of TV and AV. You will be involved in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across key retail partners and will be responsible for weekly reporting of KPIs across these partners utilizing tools and software provided to help improve the visibility of TCL online.
You should be comfortable working within a team but also able to work independently. The candidate should be confident in managing budgets efficiently as well as dealing with data and technology. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where adaptability is key.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Elaborate and execute the online operation plan for UK & Ireland aligned with the KAM, Head of TV/AV, and the Country Manager.
2. Manage relationships with external retailer marketing teams, working collaboratively, efficiently, and with attention to detail to achieve results.
3. Support sales out initiatives and optimization at online retail together with the UK & Ireland sales team with a focus on TV and Soundbar.
4. Make detailed monthly plans and review progress for each marketing topic with KAMs/Head of TV/AV.
5. Manage TCL brand in all customers' online visibility.
6. Collaborate internally and externally to improve TCL online visibility.
Job Duties:
1. Execute customer-specific online retailer marketing plans, collaborating with colleagues on messaging and artworks for various activities. Ensure all activities are on brand and in line with guidelines.
2. Utilize third-party CPC-based platforms to enhance the visibility of TCL products on retailer websites with attention to ROAS.
3. Ensure that all agreed activities are delivered, captured, and maximized.
4. Work to increase visibility of TCL products across retailer websites, considering the consumer journey to the TCL product detail page (PDP) and how this could be improved.
5. Deploy the full content package across all retailer sites to ensure consistency.
6. Work with retailers to create engaging PDPs and shop-in-shop style environments.
7. Implement SEO improvements in collaboration with retailers on their web and marketplace platforms.
8. Work in partnership with the Head of TV and AV, KAMs, and Channel marketing team to analyze retailers’ online proposition and implement improvements.
9. Proactively suggest improvements for the ecommerce business using market intelligence, data, and available tools.
10. Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly review presentations to demonstrate progress within allocated work/retail accounts.
Experience Required:
1. Ideally, previous experience in a trade marketing environment/consumer electronics within a sales-focused business or agency.
2. Experience in CPC Ad platforms and data analysis is crucial.
3. Knowledge of E-commerce and marketing techniques is needed.
4. Experience in creative software such as Photoshop is an advantage.
5. Experience with planning budgets and executing activities accurately.
6. Marketing qualifications are an advantage.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
1. Knowledge of the consumer electronics industry is an advantage but not essential. Training and support specific to the industry will be provided.
2. Be fully adept with Microsoft Office programs and website functionality and maintenance ability.
