Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join a leading supply chain team in Sunderland. Reporting to the SCM Production Control Manager, the Supply Chain Coordinator will oversee supplier management, inventory control, and ensure seamless material supply to production.
As an Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, developing supplier relationships, and leading supplier development activities to meet key Master Schedule milestones. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in parts/material control
* Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices
* Previous project management and cross-functional team experience (desirable)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* SAP or ERP system experience preferred
* Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management
* Ability to work in a multicultural environment and interact at all levels
