The NDT Technicians Role: The company is looking for Trainees or Experienced NDT Technicians to join its UK team. For experienced candidates, you’ll be expected to apply your technical skills across a range of aircraft platforms, conducting essential inspections and testing. Trainees will be provided with comprehensive training to gain Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) qualifications, developing hands-on experience while working alongside industry experts. Key Responsibilities: Conducting Magnetic Particle Inspections (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Inspections (DPI) on various aircraft components. Supporting routine daily, weekly, and monthly control checks. Assisting in stock management and the maintenance of plant equipment. Collaborating with the SOP Engineer to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensuring compliance with EASA, FAA, and internal company safety, quality, and environmental standards. Candidate Requirements: Experienced Technicians: EN4179 certification in both Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI). Proven experience in a Non-Destructive Testing environment. Ability to read and interpret manufacturer overhaul and repair manuals. Trainee Technicians: Some experience or background in engineering or the aerospace industry. Enthusiasm for developing hands-on skills in Non-Destructive Testing. A willingness to undergo training and gain industry-recognised NDT certifications. A GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
