Leaders in Care has partnered with an Ofsted rated 'Good' local authority situated just off the South Coast for an experienced practitioner to join their established Child Support and Protect Team, who operate using the Child and Family Assessment (CAST) model.
This role offers an attractive pay rate of £43.50 per hour, you will also receive a generous weekly accommodation bonus of £250.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, which includes both short-term assessments and long-term child protection/child in need cases. This balance ensures that your work remains fresh and varied.

You will also have access to weekly return ferries paid for to and from the island, so you can travel home to spend time with friends and family weekly should you wish.
You can also expect a stable 6-month contract from the get-go, with further flexibility to extend this should you wish. With this council, you will be joining a supportive and well-established management team, who are always on hand to offer any guidance.
Finally, we will also have weekly check-ins to ensure you're happy throughout the contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly-rated council in a stable team environment, receiving regular supervision and training as required to support your personal development and contribute to the service. Immediate start positions are available, but this council is also open to waiting for up to 4 weeks for the right candidate.
As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
