Assistant Management Accountant Cullompton At Gregory Distribution Ltd (GDL), as a result of continued growth during a busy time for the team, we have a vacancy for an Assistant Management Accountant based at our Cullompton Depot. The position involves: Preparation of weekly forecasts at cost centre level for multiple business areas. Prepare and post journals for accruals, prepayments and ad-hoc expenditure that form part of the weekly forecasts and monthly management accounts. Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Liaise with other members of staff across all departments to provide information needed to complete the management accounts. Prepare management information detailing revenues, costs and profitability together with their respective financial and operational KPI's. Assist with the preparation of budgets and reforecasts, based on operational data. Raise sales invoices for specific contracts under the department's control. Help and assist in other areas of the business as required. Support the business with financial information to aid decision making. Essential Skills required: AAT qualified or equivalent at Level 3 minimum with the scope to progress onto CIMA with the business. Previous experience of management accounting processes such as costing, budgeting and variance analysis. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and internal stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. Solution driven and flexible approach to your work. Competent in using MS Excel (basic formulas, graphs and pivot tables) plus all other MS Office systems. Analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Why Gregory Distribution?
