The role The digital healthcare market is a very exciting and competitive space that has seen considerable growth over the last few years. The fast, efficient and safe delivery of all of the treatments we provide is at the heart of what we do. As a central focus for the company, you will aim to make the processes across the different locales of the company as fast, safe and efficient as they possibly can be. You will act as the Superintendent Pharmacist, managing the setup and scaling of the new pharmacy, dispensing and the dispatch of private prescriptions, primarily GLP-1s. You will help to create and manage the operational processes, rotas and structures within the pharmacy and work to ensure that the pharmacy continues to maintain the high standards that we expect. You will work across all aspects of the pharmacy, including the recruitment of key team members, the supply of prescriptions, delivery and couriers, medications and test kits to clients and ensuring that systems and processes are in place to ensure that treatments arrive with patients as and when they expect them in an appropriate, safe and cost effective way. Dimensions & Stakeholders Working closely with the medical and pharmacy teams to ensure that all delivery of medication meets best practice guidance. Responding and reacting to changes in requirements including allocation of prescriptions to pharmacies when there are Bank Holidays or delivery problems. Developing a deep understanding of all of the processes that occur with external parties that impact our operations, including, but not limited to Royal Mail, medical product suppliers, and our partner lab amongst others. Understanding, developing, mapping and evaluating all of our clinical and customer support processes and exploring ways with stakeholders that these operational processes can be improved. Working closely with the data team to provide regular reports on the day-to-day processes and successes of the pharmacy. You will analyze all operational processes, exploring reasons for additional costs and developing plans to improve efficiencies against core KPIs. This role will require the ability to provide detailed feedback regularly, through the manipulation of data through spreadsheets and other media. Working closely with external partners and providers, to help streamline their processes and to help bring about new or more effective systems that meet the needs of customers. Key Accountabilities You will be responsible for ensuring the pharmacy is run in a manner compliant with the regulation set out by the GPhC, as well as ensuring that all clinical processes are adhered to ensuring patient safety. You will be responsible for the management of staffing across the hub and ensuring that the appropriate level of team members are available to fulfil the growing demand for the service. You will be responsible for keeping operational process maps up to date for all operational processes in the pharmacy. You will be responsible for the KPIs related to the delivery and supply of prescriptions, test kits and medications from the UK locale. You will be accountable for maintaining metrics across our UK locale and work with the product and operations team to keep performance within the defined metrics. Skills & experience Qualified and GPhC registered UK Pharmacist with an understanding of the digital healthcare landscape. Experience as a Pharmacy Superintendent at a registered GPhC Pharmacy. Previous pharmacy management experience. Knowledge of process mapping and efficiency processing. Proven ability to handle difficult problems and challenges and to develop innovative solutions. Experience in data analysis and manipulation, including basic Excel skills (essential). Previous Experience in stakeholder management and commercial contract negotiations (desirable). Experience working with different delivery providers (desirable) Personal qualities: Ability to work across teams as well as working alone.
