Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
Desirable criteria
* Membership or Fellowship of the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine or membership of another (Royal) College or Faculty and Licentiate of the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine or willingness to work towards
Health
Essential criteria
* Meets professional health requirements in line with GMC Standards/ Good Medical Practice
Experience
Essential criteria
* Currently working as a sexual offence examiner
* Working as a sexual offence examiner for at least 5 years
* Extensive experience examining children of all ages following a sexual assault
* Knowledge and understanding of SARC service
Desirable criteria
* Previous experience of work in Genitourinary Medicine, General Practice, Obstetrics & Gynaecology or Forensic medicine
* Clinical experience/working knowledge in GUM and contraception including HIV prophylaxis
Management
Essential criteria
* Evidence of commitment to audit and improving clinical practice/service development
Desirable criteria
* Evidence of Clinical Leadership
Personal
Essential criteria
* Able to participate in the on-call rota
* Effective communication skills
* Works well within MDT environment
* Able to manage own time
* Excellent organisation skills
* Evidence of interest in personal development e.g. through research and/or publications
Desirable criteria
* Full UK driving license / Car owner / driver
