The role:
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Trusts Manager to join a prominent Top 50 law firm as part of their Private Client Advisory team, to be based in Bristol.
This firm boasts a top-tier private client practice, serving clients with diverse assets who require intricate succession planning and wealth protection strategies. A significant portion of their work comes from generational clients, utilising the firm for comprehensive 'cradle to grave' legal services.
As the Trusts Manager, you will take a proactive role in managing client portfolios, addressing tax and succession planning issues related to trusts and estates for individuals, families, and charities.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in trust administration and managing a large portfolio of trusts
* Qualification as an accountant or solicitor
* Experience in liaising with accountants and coordinating the preparation of annual trust accounts and tax returns
* Familiarity with overseeing updates to the Trust Registration Service
* Proven ability to liaise with HMRC, trustees, beneficiaries, and investment managers
* Experience in overseeing tax payments and other financial obligations, with responsibility for billing
