BenweldSecure is a leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of armoury storage solutions, including secure weapon storage, secure walling, armoury & vault doors, serving hatches and bar-sets, all to protect against physical attack, blast and ballistic protection where multiple threat mitigation is required.
Technical Sales Estimator - The Role:
This is a full-time, on-site, Technical Sales Estimating role located on Hartlebury Trading Estate. The role will be responsible for daily tasks including but not limited to customer communication, quote generation, client liaison, sales data control & ERP usage.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Receive, examine and interpret enquiry documents and create quotation and specification offerings
2. Develop relationships with clients
3. Generate new sales from leads and market research
4. Assist in delivering company sales and invoicing targets
5. Ensure quotations and technical bids are submitted on time
6. Liaise with group contacts & sister companies to assist in building correct offerings
7. Use ERP system and create accurate costings & BOM's
The Ideal Candidate will have:
1. A flexible attitude to work, along with the ability to work unsupervised
2. Commercial Awareness
3. Comfortable speaking to existing and new customers
4. Ability to work well as a part of a team
5. Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word & Excel
7. Estimating experience
8. Ability to read technical specifications and drawings
9. Sales & Business development skills
10. Knowledge of the security industry, critical national infrastructure, LPCB & MOD is a bonus
11. Positive and proactive approach
