The role is very well supported by the Consultant team who provide Consultant ward rounds seven days a week. As a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner you are expected to work within the 4 pillars of advanced Practice (Multi-Professional framework for advanced Clinical practice in England, Health Education England, 2017): Expert clinical practice Leadership and management, in order to improve and transform services. Research application of existing research and contributing to new research. Education and Development of self and others. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse or Allied Health Professional with an interest in Vascular Surgery. Experience of independent clinical assessment and decision making is advantageous. Trainee Advanced clinical practitioners will be expected to commence an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, this will be supported by the senior ACP/Consultant in order to meet the capabilities required for this role. You will need to be able to offer flexibility and to be able to work Monday-Sunday 7.30am-8.30pm to cover the service.
