As a Graduate Engineer, you will be involved in various aspects of our earthworks projects, from site surveys to quality assurance. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and grow within the company, ultimately preparing you for a full-fledged engineering role. Key Responsibilities: Project Involvement: Site Surveys: Conduct GNSS surveys and set out for earthworks. 3D Machine Control: Review models for accuracy and efficiency. Works Information: Analyse drawings and specifications, and collaborate with the Foreman to determine optimal construction methods. Documentation: Assist in writing key job documents such as Plans and RAMS to ensure safe, efficient, and proper construction. Quality Assurance: Plan, execute, and file QA processes in a timely manner. Soil Quality Checks: Perform spot checks, including topsoil plasticity testing and microwave moisture content testing. Planning: Participate in near-term rolling-wave planning to support site management. Commercial Awareness: Identify events and communicate with the Commercial team. Qualifications: Required: Eligible to join the ICE as a graduate grade member and commence progression to IEng status. UK Citizen or permanent leave to remain. Desirable: B or higher in Math, Further Math, and/or Physics A-Level (or equivalents). Full UK Driver’s Licence.
