Key Account Manager – Government
What you will do
We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager to join our Custodial, Blue Light & Government vertical within Key Accounts. This is a unique opportunity to join our team delivering security solutions to our Government Sector. In addition to developing new business, the Key Account Manager will be expected to grow and protect existing customers.
The position will cover the South of the UK and other areas as required by the business.
How you will do it
The Key Account Manager will deliver excellent relationship management, achieving the targets and objectives set by the company. You will deliver outstanding customer service to your nominated accounts through structured account review processes and a real customer-centric approach, understanding customers’ KPIs and how the company can facilitate these. You will work closely with the customers and Government security teams to deliver detailed security review reports/quotations that meet the requirements of the customer.
What we look for
* Good technical understanding of security and life safety systems.
* Ability to maintain and develop relationships through a structured approach.
* Knowledge of Security and CPNI standards, as well as experience in physical security, would be an advantage. Familiarity with framework agreements and standard contract terms is also preferred.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels and work autonomously with drive and determination to succeed.
* Computer literacy is important, especially with the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.com, will be advantageous.
* Must be able to undertake Security Clearance as part of this role and attain clearance to SC level.
