Job summary Band 7 Service Manager within the Dermatology/Neurology department at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Starting ASAP for approximately 6 months (possibility of extension). Main duties of the job Supporting the Divisional General Manager and the Divisional Management Team within specific clinical areas and in partnership with other Service Managers and Clinicians to ensure the effective provision of consistent quality services. Work with the Divisional Management team to ensure the achievement of performance and other local and national clinical and non-clinical targets. Provide operational management support to the service, supervising systems and processes for specific areas. In liaison with the quality and governance leads ensure appropriate systems and processes are established in departments to support the robust reporting and progress of governance, risk and safeguarding issues. Manage designated financial resources within budget and support the Divisional Operations Director/General Manager/Head of Nursing/Head of Operations in financial management within the Division. Support the development of service line reporting and service line management across the division.
