Your new company
Our client is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis, initially. The hours of work are Monday–Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm (if 8am - 4pm/9am-5pm suits better, this can also be offered). Once training is completed, the organisation can offer hybrid working - 3 days in office and 2 days from home. The offices are based in Bellshill, and it is advisable that applicants have access to their own transport.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of a sub team of 2 (and a wider finance team of 8), the Finance Assistant will undertake a range of responsibilities. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. Sales invoicing
2. Credit note processing
3. Daily reporting for management
4. Handling queries
5. Reconciliations
6. General associated finance administration
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of sales invoicing is essential. You will be a team player and possess professional & personable communication skills, both verbal and written, as you will liaise with clients and colleagues on a daily basis. Experience with SAP is advantageous but not essential.
