We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to the IT readiness workstream of our digital transformation and core banking modernisation (Cloud; Applications, Data and Managed Service). The Senior Project Manager will work alongside the existing Portfolio and Project Managers, IT Service and Operations and Change teams to ensure that the programme delivery is successfully implemented into production and handed over to support teams for ongoing support Key responsibilities are: Overall end to end responsibility for IT readiness activities at individual workstream and programme level Working closely with Programme Director, workstream leads, BAU Change teams and Business Change lead to identify the activities required to get the organisation ready for the new platform and solution Work with internal IT leadership and 3rd parties to establish the service delivery framework and associated SLA s to ensure adherence with contractual arrangements. Working with Strategic Partner(s) to develop appropriate collateral document to support safe adoption of new Technology and the associated processes Under technical impact analysis and work closely with IT Implementation manager to manage each of the key production events Agreeing a set of acceptance criteria with the IT support teams to accept solution into live and track progress against these criteria Work with architecture colleagues as well as business and technical stakeholders to ensure technical impacts of proposed changes and solutions are understood Project delivery experience across financial services driving IT change across a large business transformation Development of service delivery framework and associated SLA s to ensure adherence with contractual arrangements for the ongoing managed service Managing multiple third parties and regulatory stakeholders Management of project resources to develop an effective team Development and management of a detailed project schedule and work plan Plans, assembles and manages resources required to deliver to the objectives and scope Tracks project progress and costs in order to meet objectives, scope and budget Proactively manages change to project scope via change control Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path Creates and maintains RAID logs identifying risks / issues and risk management options Provides project updates to Stakeholders, Project Team & PMO on progress and risks Key Skills and Experience Previous experience in delivery financial services projects Proven experience in delivering projects employing both Agile and Waterfall based methodologies Project management certification such as PRINCE2, Scrum, PMP Breadth of knowledge across the infrastructure technology stack, including Cloud technologies Experience with managing budgets Delivery and results focused, with the ability to build and manage client / customer relationships Ability to report to steering committees comprised of senior executives Demonstrable experience in managing internal and external technology partners Ability to analyse complex problems in a structured manor whilst under pressure Desire to build effective working relationships with key business and technology stakeholders Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills Flexible and approachable team-worker Demonstrable experience in a IT readiness role during a major core banking/digital transformation programme, including migration Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders Experience of delivering and leading IT projects / programmes Strong project management skills with a desire to deliver to time; cost and quality. Outstanding leadership and organisational skills Experience in large scale, multinational Agile delivery and with skills to navigate ambiguity Experience of material outsourcing within a regulatory environment Experience of Cloud; Applications, Data and Managed Service ITIL Certified desirable What's in it for you?
