Position Summary:
Quality Roots is quickly growing in the Michigan cannabis industry and seeks to hire an experienced Lifecycle Marketing Manager to help manage our digital presence across the company.
As our Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you'll own the full customer journey-crafting engaging content, managing social media, and driving retention through email, SMS, and digital engagement. Think of yourself as the brand storyteller-meets-growth strategist, ensuring every touchpoint-whether a tweet, an email, or a text-feels cohesive, compelling, and conversion-driven.

Qualifications:
The Lifecycle Marketing Manager must be organized and professional with the ability to work in tandem with the Marketing, Retail, Inventory, and other teams to establish and complete department goals.
Job Responsibilities - Social Media & Community Management:
* Own the social media strategy & execution across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
* Create engaging, shareable content (graphics, videos, captions, and interactive posts).
* Act as the brand's voice & personality, responding to DMs, comments, and trends in real time.
* Build community-fostering conversations and engagement that keep followers coming back.
* Develop and execute content calendars that align with key campaigns and launches.
Email & SMS Marketing:
* Craft compelling email and SMS campaigns that feel personal and drive engagement.
* Manage segmentation & automation to ensure the right message reaches the right audience.
* A/B test subject lines, content, and send times to boost open rates and conversions.
* Track performance metrics and tweak strategies to keep engagement high.
Growth & Analytics:
* Monitor social media and content performance-adjusting strategy based on data insights.
* Leverage analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, Klaviyo, etc.) to optimize engagement.
* Continuously test and refine campaigns, creative, and messaging to drive conversions.
Skills:
* Passion for Storytelling: Ability to craft compelling narratives through video content.

* Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Project Management: Monday.com experience preferred
Requirements:
* Proven Experience: 2+ years of experience in content creation, with a focus on short-form video. Relevant degree is a bonus.
* Video Editing Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, InShot, etc.).
* Social Media Savvy: Deep understanding of social media platforms and trends.
* Email & CRM knowledge: previous experience with systems like Klaviyo, Mailchip, Omnisend, or similar platforms.
* Creativity and Innovation: Ability to generate fresh and engaging content ideas.
* Attention to Detail: Strong editing and proofreading skills.
* Cannabis Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with cannabis products, culture, and regulations is a plus.
* Full-time availability: (40-45 hours per week) Monday through Friday, some weekends as needed
* Travel: Travel between stores and events in Michigan is required frequently. Occasional travel to new markets as we expand.
* Must be 21+ years old
* Valid Driver License with reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the State of Michigan (as needed, mileage reimbursement provided)
* Can lift up to 20lbs
* Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design solutions
* In-office position
Compensation:
* Salary $45,000-60,000/yr (negotiable based on experience)
