Job Description:
· Researching and finding potential sales and new business opportunities in the market.
· Generating leads and turning them into opportunities for sales.
· Chasing bid leads and ensuring they are progressed to a successful outcome.
· Regular liaison with the Sales & Marketing Director to ensure correct leads are identified and pursued.
· Contacting potential customers via telephone, email, and face-to-face and networking events.
· Compiling leads/potential sales opportunities for telesales activities.
· Work with marketing team to develop marketing ideas and brand exposure.
· Working to KPI’s and revenue targets as set by the JLL Director.
· Arranging meetings with prospects to demonstrate our services.
· Negotiating prices with potential customers and closing sales.
· Paying attention to competitors and their activities within the industry.
· Building long-term relationships with existing customers.
· Ensuring all administration relating to sales are completed on time and effectively.
· Working closely with other departments and finding opportunities to cross-sell.
· Creating monitoring reports, analysing performance and sales data, and delivering reports to management.
· Collecting customer and marketing feedback and reporting to the JLL Director.
· Understanding who are the influencers and final decision makers.
· Any additional tasks asked by the Sales & Marketing Director or JLL Director in association with the above role.
· Motivate sales development to drive revenue growth.
· Monitoring personal sales performance, ability to analyse sales data, regular forecasting, and reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director.
Requirements
· Proven ability to drive sales and generate new business.
· Knowledge of understanding and working with projects involving multiple stakeholders.
· Relevant industry experience ideally gained from a competitor business (preferred).
· Ambitious and driven personality with a hunger for success.
· Talent for influencing client management/Key stakeholders.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
· Negotiation and communication skills.
· Adaptable and organised.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Time management skills.
· Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
· Ability to communicate across multiple channels.
Role is based in the UK, occasional travel to Cambridge office required. Scope of the role will cover potential clients nationwide; travel nationwide is essential!
