The Role: We require a Digital Marketing Assistant to support the in-house Marketing team to continue to build awareness of the Firm using digital techniques first and foremost to support the Marketing and BD strategy. The successful candidate will be reporting into the Marketing Director. Duties & Responsibilities: The duties of the role are varied and will include the following: Digital: Website & Social Media Website Management: Updating website content Content creation: Creating engaging and dynamic digital content including editing videos.Consideration of new channels to drive engagement. Social media: Managing the firm’s social channels, assisting with creating innovative content, community engagement metrics and being the voice of our brand. Campaigns: Assisting with email marketing campaigns by designing and creating email templates, managing email databases and tracking metrics, such as open rates and click-through rates Analytics: Measuring the performance of digital marketing efforts and acquiring insight into online marketing trends Internal communication: Organising the firm’s video schedule; editing internal videos Research: Keeping updated with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies and making recommendations for how the organisation can incorporate them into its marketing strategy Events: Assisting with event planning and promotion including webinars Content: Supporting content creation efforts, such as creating infographics or designing social media visuals Marketing: Where required providing direct support with event management Providing general administrative support to the marketing team Providing project support on initiatives and campaigns The successful candidate will also be expected to play an active role in the team and contribute to positive morale, working collaboratively across all areas of the firm. Working in line with the firm’s values, the successful candidate will be expected to seek regular feedback in order to learn and develop technical and personal skills, as well as provide constructive upward feedback to senior colleagues. They will be expected to undertake other ad hoc tasks in line with the nature of this position. The Candidate: The successful candidate should demonstrate the following skills and qualities: A good understanding and execution of digital marketing Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Experience with digital marketing platforms, social media management, content creation, SEO, video production Experience in analytics and reporting Experience of managing marketing events and producing marketing collateral High quality proof reading skills and excellent use of punctuation and grammar Be detail oriented, excellent administrative skills and ability to prioritise Strong interpersonal skills A creative problem solver and thinker A confident working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, as well as Office 365 and SharePoint Strong analytical skills including data analysis and formatting in Excel, with the ability to present data in an understandable form The successful candidate should be a self-starter, with an innovative and creative flair. We do not require any specific qualifications for the position, but the successful candidate should at least be educated to a good A-level standard.
