Description
As the Student Recruitment Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the university's student recruitment strategy. You will lead a team of Schools and Colleges Engagement Officers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engagement activities that foster meaningful relationships with schools and colleges. Through strategic planning, data analysis, and team management, you will contribute to the university's growth targets by enhancing application growth and conversion rates.

About the Role
You will lead and motivate a team of Schools and Colleges Engagement Officers to meet recruitment targets and strengthen engagement activities. You will develop and manage relationships with key schools and colleges, serving as a university ambassador. Responsibilities include planning and overseeing recruitment events such as UCAS exhibitions, HE fairs, and UK University Search events, while using data insights to refine recruitment strategies.
Additionally, you will ensure efficient resource allocation, support the team's professional development, and deputise for the Head of UK Student Recruitment when needed. You will also manage the planning and execution of the annual HE Advisers' Day.
About You
We are seeking a candidate with a degree or equivalent qualification, proven experience in higher education schools and colleges engagement, and a full UK driving licence. Ideally, you will have experience managing a team within student recruitment or outreach.
The role requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to use data and market research to guide decisions. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise are essential. We value a proactive, positive attitude, and the flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Salary: Grade 7, GBP 37,999 to GBP 42,632 per annum

Some evening and weekend working will be required as part of this role. The arrangement of working hours will be agreed in advance with the post's line manager.
It is essential that you have a full UK driving license.
