This is an exciting opportunity within the North East and North Cumbria (NENC) Integrated Care Board (ICB) for a Permanent, Band 7, Programme Lead within the NENC Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) Programme Management Office (PMO).

Please note: the LMNS PMO Team cover the North East and North Cumbria area therefore the office base will be agreed with the successful candidate from the following ICB office locations:
* North Ormesby Health Village - Middlesbrough
* Pemberton House - Sunderland
* Stella House - Newcastle
* Park House - Carlisle
The role will require travel across the North East and North Cumbria, and will have the opportunity to work at home and within an office environment.

The ICB is responsible for ensuring that high quality and safe health services are accessible to all of our communities. It has a wide range of functions, including promoting integration of health and care services, improving peoples health and well-being, and reducing health inequalities.

Job responsibilities
To support the LMNS Senior Team and in particular the LMNS Head of Quality and Safety in the delivery of the Quality and Safety programme of work.
* To lead specific programme areas as required.
* Develop and write project plans incorporating key project milestones to ensure the achievement of strategic aims.
* Maintain project initiation documentation, communication tools, and associated plans in a timely manner.
* Project planning for ongoing projects which are broad in scope and involve complex activities.
* Deliver presentations to a wide range of groups across the LMNS including to LMNS Board.
* Persuade steering and delivery groups of the importance of complex projects.
* Provide day-to-day support for activities and projects, allocating tasks, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Evidence of sustained personal & professional development.
* Degree level qualification or equivalent.
* Master's level qualification or equivalent experience.
* A proven track record of implementing and overseeing improvements in performance and standards of care.
* A proven track record of transformation, planning, and delivery across a range of areas and services.
* Experience in the management of multi-project programmes of work.
* Experience of effective partnership and working with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
* Experience in developing programme or project plans across multiple partners and stakeholders.
* Experience in performance management approaches including analysis of data and performance reporting.
* Knowledge and experience of staff line management.
* Knowledge and experience of working within financial budgets.
* Experience of managing relationships with stakeholders.
