Key Responsibilities Financial Management Oversee the day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and ledger management. Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial stability and alignment with company goals. Reporting and Compliance Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports for senior leadership. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, and financial reporting standards. Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate smooth audits. Leadership and Team Oversight Provide guidance and leadership to the finance team, ensuring adherence to best practices and company policies. Support team development and maintain a structured, efficient approach to financial processes. Strategic Contribution Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights that inform strategic business decisions. Analyse financial performance and identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost optimisation. Process Improvement Assess and enhance current financial systems, processes, and controls to drive greater efficiency and accuracy. Key Skills and Qualifications Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent). Extensive experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role. Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and systems optimisation. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (familiarity with SAGE) Proven ability to work within dynamic environments and meet tight deadlines.
