Could you help us to pack Challahs for delivery to Holocaust Survivors
The role is to help pack challahs on a fortnightly basis to be delivered to Holocaust survivors. You will pack individually wrapped challahs into paper bags and then follow a spreadsheet to arrange them in order of locality ready for our volunteer drivers to collect and deliver.
Time Commitment: We need this volunteer to help us fortnightly on a Thursday morning from 8.20am – 9.30am in Amelie House, Golders Green. Volunteer drivers begin to collect their deliveries from 9.30am.
Tasks:
1. Arrive at Amelie House for 8.20am where the challah loaves are waiting in crates
2. Pack challahs in brown paper bags. (These brown paper bags have already been pre-packed with a letter from the centre and a Shabbat picture from local school children)
3. Follow spreadsheets to order and place challah bags into larger white bags so they are arranged by locality
4. Take bags to first floor (using trolley) ready for volunteer drivers to collect
