About the Role: We are seeking passionate and dedicated SEND Graduates to join our team. In this role, you will provide vital support to students with special educational needs, assisting in both their academic progress and personal growth. Working alongside teachers and support staff, you will help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans for students to tailor educational activities and resources to meet their specific needs.
* Provide one-on-one support to students to help them understand and complete their work, providing additional explanations and assistance as needed.
* Monitor and assess students’ progress, provide feedback to teachers, and adjust support strategies as necessary.
* Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to students’ development.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment to foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where students feel valued and included.
* Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students, catering to their diverse learning styles and needs.
* Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and report to teachers, parents, and other relevant parties.
Requirements
* Prior experience in a similar role is essential, demonstrating an understanding of the unique challenges and needs of students with special educational needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues, building positive and supportive relationships.
* Demonstrate the ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the school community.
* Show a deep commitment to helping students by exhibiting patience and empathy in your interactions.
* Relevant qualifications or training in education (desirable but not essential).

* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
