Bolton College is looking to appoint an ambitious, talented, and enthusiastic Lecturer B in Maths to join our flourishing team. Ideally, you will have: Degree in a relevant subject. Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent). Level 2 Maths and English qualifications. Proven track record in the teaching of Maths GCSE to 16–18-year-olds. Experience of implementing quality assurance systems for Maths in an FE setting. A detailed understanding of the GCSE/Functional Skills curriculum for Maths. Experience of successful course management. Experience of leading and motivating a small team of staff. Day-to-day you will have responsibility: To support the Curriculum Leader by co-ordinating and supervising a small team in the delivery of high quality and inclusive provision within a curriculum area. To deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses. To support the curriculum management on curriculum and course development. To take part and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility. Develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required. To support the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates.
