As a placement software engineer at Instil, you will be part of a team, helping build real-world software products for our global clients. Along the way, we will provide dedicated training and mentoring to help you learn the skills and disciplines required to develop high-quality, professional software at scale. Location Requirements This role requires regular in office attendance. Therefore, candidates should be located in Northern Ireland. Day to Day Collaborate and work as part of our engineering team to develop software solutions into production. Write code on a daily basis and start your journey in becoming a Software Engineer. Work across a range of front-end and back-end technologies including: Java, Kotlin, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular & React etc. Work closely with other Engineers in a structured and supportive work environment. Research and evaluate new technologies that could improve the quality of our software. Engage with your team members to create a fun and energetic place to work and learn. Need to Have Working towards a Computer Science/Software Engineering degree or similar. An average of at least 70% in your first year modules. Good understanding of programming and testing. Good work ethic and strong desire to learn and improve Good written and verbal communication skills Eligibility to live and work in the UK. Nice to Have Evidence of contribution to an open source or personal project.
