Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Community Support Worker on a permanent full-time basis, based in Larne, with a starting salary of £20,820 per year and a staff benefit package.

Responsibilities:
With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:
1. Work as part of a team, to deliver 24-hour support to members of the homeless community who access our client’s services such as remote support, family support and hostels.
2. Offer support and advice and advocate on behalf of your clients.
3. Liaise with external professionals and other organisations.
4. Design and implement support plans and risk management plans.
Requirements:
5. Commitment to delivering the core values of the client
6. Commitment to providing non-judgemental and high standards of support
7. IT proficient
8. NISCC registered (or agreeable to registration within 6 months from date of appointment)
9. Able to work shifts that include evenings, weekends, and unsocial hours
10. While not essential, 6 months of previous experience, paid or unpaid, in supporting vulnerable persons is advantageous.
