GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant for a school located in Boston. This role is fundamental in fostering a nurturing and inclusive setting where young learners can thrive and develop essential skills for their future education.
About the Role:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will support the classroom teacher with activities tailored to the youngest learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage, fostering a nurturing environment for children to develop essential social, language and motor skills. You will also assist in preparing educational materials, monitor and report on children's progress and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:
* Assist in delivering engaging and interactive lessons tailored to the EYFS curriculum, helping children develop essential skills.
* Provide one-on-one support to children who may require additional help, ensuring all students can access the learning material.
* Maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment, encouraging good behaviour and social interaction among children.
* Assist in the preparation of educational materials and resources to enhance learning experiences.
* Monitor and record children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents to support each child’s development.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, adhering to school policies and safeguarding procedures.
The Successful Candidate Will:
* Previous experience in an EYFS setting and familiarity with the Early Years curriculum are desirable.
* A patient and encouraging approach is essential to help children build confidence in their early learning journey.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage young children effectively.
* Profound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and child development principles will be beneficial.
* Strong organisational skills to prepare and manage educational materials and activities.
* A commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students, with a thorough understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.

* Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
