The Opportunity
Hightown Community Resource Centre is a lively and vibrant community centre in Wrexham, owned by Wales and West Housing Association. We have an opportunity for an individual looking to make a difference. As our Resource Centre Assistant, you will be supporting the Resource Centre Manager to deliver a great service to the community groups and customers who use the Hightown Resource Centre.
The pay for this role is £7,562.88 per annum based on an average of 12 hours working per week.
What will you be doing?
You will be involved in:
1. Cleaning the community resource centre,
2. Setting up the facilities for groups,
3. Opening up and securing the centre when the groups have left the premises.
The role is temporary part-time, for 12 hours per week, working alongside one other Resource Centre Assistant and the Resource Centre Manager. This is a 7-month temporary role starting in January 2025 and is expected to end in July 2025.
The role requires an average of 12 hours per week over the course of a month. Please note that some weeks may involve more than 12 hours, while others may require less. The hours worked per week may vary due to changes to bookings or covering other centre staff for annual leave/sickness, so a level of flexibility is required to ensure we deliver a good service to users of the centre.
