We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Engineering Technician/Assessor to join our growing team at Solihull College and University Centre. Based at our Woodlands Campus, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning within our Engineering department, which is at the forefront of preparing students for careers in the Engineering industry. This role presents an exciting opportunity to share your expertise and passion for Engineering while contributing to the development of the next generation of skilled Engineers. You will undertake the demonstration of key skills in the workshops whilst also supporting and monitoring students during their practical activities, you will also undertake general duties associated with the stores and the maintenance of tools and equipment in the area. Candidates must hold a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant Engineering discipline. Holding a Level 3 Assessor qualification would be an advantage. Recent industrial experience in an Engineering workshop setting is essential.
