Responsibilities
1. You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of consultancy services to the client in the relevant areas, advising on the implementation and maintenance of employee benefit plans. An important part of the role is maintaining high levels of client care and satisfaction. You will assist the CRM (Client Relationship Manager), Senior Consultants and Service Head in developing existing clients and in the acquisition of new business. As such, expert knowledge of group risk and private medical insurance is required.
2. This is an FCA-controlled function and you will be required to work in accordance with the firm’s internal procedures and in accordance with FCA and other regulations.
3. Health & Risk Consultants are required to develop and maintain knowledge and skills by undertaking and recording suitable continual professional development and training and competence. An annual assessment of competence will take place.
Qualifications
4. Experience in and technical knowledge of Private Medical Insurance, Group Risk and associated benefits is essential.
5. Relevant Industry Qualifications such as IF7 & GR1 are preferable.
6. Client facing consultancy experience is essential.
7. Experience in wider areas of employee benefits and wellbeing is desirable.
8. Relevant industry qualifications or progress towards including a Certificate in Insurance (CII) and/or Certificate in Health and Protection (CII) are desirable.
9. Good academic record including Maths & English to GCSE (minimum grade C).
